At OBC you will hear the unchanging truths of God’s perfect Word preached with fresh grace. You will see lots of children and teens along with adults of all ages. You will meet with those who have walked with Jesus for many decades and those who are still exploring what they believe. You will sing songs that have stirred the souls of believers for centuries and new songs that are just as glorifying to God. And you will hear the ringing of the same bell that has called people to worship in our sanctuary for more than 100 years.

Rev. Lance Wamble

Pastor Lance is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word. He loves helping believers experience intimate relationship with Jesus, and he loves to see lost people find salvation. When he isn’t working or spending time with his wife, Stacy, and their three children, Lance enjoys playing golf, reading, and a good Diet Coke.
Michael P. Johnson

Michael enjoys combining traditional and contemporary worship styles so that the whole church can worship God together. Michael is a gifted choir director, pianist and vocalist. He constantly pours into our choir members and instrumentalists and thrives on taking them to new heights in their musical abilities.
Daniel Calvert

Daniel is a longtime member of OBC who was faithfully serving in our youth ministry well before being hired on as Youth Director. He has a genuineness that resonates with teens, and a heart to make sure that every teen feels included. Daniel longs to see teens understand God's Word and put their faith into action by serving others. When he isn't ministering to teens, Daniel is a local farmer, husband, and father.
Sonya Smith

As the Children & Preschool Ministry Director, Sonya leads the committees that serve families with children ages birth to 6th grade. Their primary goals are to provide a safe and loving environment where children can learn about God and His Word, to support families in their role as the primary spiritual leaders in their homes, and to help our church plan community outreach events that allow us to share Christ’s love with the children and families of Orlinda.
Lee Ann Wright

Lee Ann has a heart for loving and helping people. She's been working for our church for longer than she cares to admit and is an extremely important part of our ministry. She handles all of the administrative details of the office as well as publishing the Orlinda Observer and Sunday bulletin weekly.
What We Believe
The authority for our faith and practice is Jesus Christ whose nature, person, and will is revealed to us in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. This church accepts the Scriptures as an all sufficient basis of doctrine and practice. Although we place no doctrine of faith above the authority of the Scriptures themselves, we do subscribe to the interpretation of the biblical truths stated in the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message Statement adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.
